*Madden walks along a path heading back to his house, while skimming a newspaper he picked up*
Madden: Another witch missing. Wonder who they'll try to pin this one on. Boring.
*Unamused, he skips the page, and sees an advertisement for a property in Westhaven*
*He sees he's fast approaching the house*
Madden: Don't need to give her any bright ideas...Ignium
*He recites the incantation and the page flames up, burning to a crisp*

Noah: But that is a valid point. There's a recurring pattern in history that anytime a witch helps another supernatural creature, it never ends in the witch's favor.

M: Of course, no problem kiddo. You know you should wear a charm, to warden off the pesky demons..
S: Wouldn't it cancel out my magick too though?
M: Didn't think of that, I forget your brother is the one with light magick. Day off today for Empress' birthday, perks of being the Elder's granddaughter huh? I'm behind the bar tonight, so got to go help set up at the Hargrave hotel. Don't worry, things usually solve themselves.
-He ruffles Serenity's hair and she smiles a little, leaning on the counter top, watching as Micah goes to close his door, and picks up his keys instead.
M: Right, no door.
-He looks back with a nod before leaving.

 Witches are the keepers of nature's balance. You have a lot of bad to do in the world, and a 'hell' of a lot more good to make up for it. Balance, see? -She looks to the students smiling a little. Besides, it's all about perspective. Class is out, everyone has the remainder of the day off, remember?  -She steps back and out, walking down the hallway as the students begin to leave. |

Madden: Besides I'm a vampire. Whatever comes out during curfew isn't a bit concerning to me. If anything is gonna be the end of me, it's gonna be the constant breathing down my neck all of you do.
