-Tries to summon another amulet and opens her eyes to nothing-
Ugh.. my ancestors are such stick in the muds.
-Absorbs the excess magic through her palm and then sighs talking to herself-
It's not like I've done anything wrong... lately. I even considered listening to Jadis, though I haven't really been heeding her warnings.
-She sighs again and lays back in the grass-

They're half vampire, half witch. They have witch blood in them, therefore the elders have granted them protection

Empress came across an elixir, it's very old, near to the first witches old. I read on it before being sealed in time, it is used to summon demons and help boost them as they possess a human vessel without human retaliation. Demons and..
-She surveys their faces, remaining paralysed but feeling calmer.
Demons and vampires share some biological aspects, for demons the elixir boost part protects them and suppresses a human.. for. Vampires it plays on the adrenaline and.. vampire senses heightening them to an overdrive.
-She sighs glancing at the boys letting them know she's okay.
Empress found it and it burnt her hand because of an incantation so strong it was only for the user to touch; I used pain suppression to take her burning away, and tasted the elixir and only after realised what it was. That's what happened Jadis.. I'm sorry.. I didn't do this on purpose.

As though that comes to a shock of anyone who's been alive for the last three months. *The glare quickly returns to a smirk, a condescending one at that.*  Whatever this was won't stay quiet. I don't mean Serenity's unnatural existence either-- I mean this elixir business. Serenity darling, gnawing on the necks of your fellow students is typically frowned upon. I would suggest resisting it in the future. Lest your position at the Academy and acceptance by the Elders may wear thin. |
